CONFESS

We believe that our "WORDS" are "WEAPONS" and there is power in confessing the Truth found in God's Word over our lives!   The Bible says that when we truly 'confess' Jesus as Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Jesus from the dead (Romans 10:9), then we are SAVED from Hell, and as we continue to grow in our faith, confessing continues to be a powerful way to overcome sin and struggles in our lives.  Below you will find topics with specific things you can speak aloud to help you become stronger in your faith.

WHO AM I?

I am a child of God.

But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God. -2 Cor 5:21

I am a friend of God.

No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I call you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. -Jn 15:15

I am one spirit with God.

In whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. -Col 1:14

I am called and chosen by God.

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and

that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, He may give it to

you. -Jn 15:16

I have been justified.

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord

Jesus Christ. -Rom 5:1

I am one spirit with God.

But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him. -1 Cor 6:17

I have been bought with a price. I belong to God.

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from

God?  You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. -1 Cor 6:19-20

I have been adopted by God.

He predestined us for adoption to Himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose

of His will. -Eph 1:5

 I am hidden in Christ.

For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. -Col 3:3

I am born of God and the evil one cannot touch me.

We know that everyone who has been born of God does not keep on sinning, but he who was

born of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him. -1 Jn 5:18

I am the salt of the earth.

You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no

longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet. -Mt 5:13

I cannot be separated from the love of God.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or

famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? -Rom 8:35

I do not have a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. -2 Tim 1:7

I am God’s temple.

Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? -1 Cor 3:16

I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the

righteousness of God. -2 Cor 5:21
